Side Tie for Clad-Steel – ISTC / ISTF / ISTK is used for mooring steelaluminum and steel-zinc cable laterally on the pin insulator in rural electrification networks, with much greater efficiency than conventional moorings. Easy installation and manual application, no tools required. It receives abrasive material in its inner part, for a better grip on the cable. Replaces tying done manually with wire and aluminum tape. It comes with an elastomer pad, which must be applied over the steel-aluminum cable or steel-zinc cable, to avoid abrasion damage.
