Vibration Damper – HVD is recommended for places with a high incidence of transverse winds that cause vibrations in the conductors and damage the structure of the line. Highly reliable and covering all resonance frequencies, it reduces the effects of abrasion, fatigue and deconcentrates efforts in the gripping region, promoting greater service life. Used to attenuate wind vibrations that occur in lightning rod and conductor cables, they are also applied in OPGW cables and ADSS optics in lines with long spans.
