Spool Tie – SPT is used for fixing the bare aluminum conductor, ACSR/AAC-AAAC, in pulley insulator. Easy installation, manual application, no tools required. It receives abrasive material in its inner part, for greater grip on the conductor. It comes with an elastomer pad, which must be applied over the conductor to avoid abrasion damage. It replaces, with many advantages, the tying done manually with wire and aluminum tape.
