Distribution Grip Dead End – DDE is used for anchoring bare aluminum cables, ACSR/AAC-AAAC, at the mechanical endpoints, on the primary, next to the disc insulator, or on the secondary, directly on the pulley or nut insulator. Easy installation and manual application do not require specialized labor or use of tools. It receives abrasive material in its inner part, for greater grip on the conductor.
