Conductive/Repair preformed splice – ACS is used to splice/repair and restore the electrical and mechanical properties of ACSR/AAC-AAAC aluminum conductor cable at breakpoints or faults in the power line. Distributes efforts without causing localized tensions, preserves the integrity of the conductive cable without deforming it, has manual installation, flexibility that allows the passage in cable laying equipment. For ACSR cable, this splice should only be used to repair the aluminum cable, in cases where the steel core is broken or damaged, the full splice should also be used. Anti-oxide paste must be used on the cable before applying the splice.
