Armor Rods – IAR is used to offer mechanical protection to aluminum conductors, ACSR/AAC-AAAC, at the points where suspension or support clamps are applied. Distributes efforts without causing localized tensions, preserves cable integrity without deforming it, has manual installation. It consists of a group of unglued rods and without the presence of abrasives.
